The brief was to create a brand identity for Flash Entertainment’s new live events venue, The Flash Forum.

Flash Entertainment had never before had a dedicated venue to house its own live events. In other words they had never had a space to call home. It was to be based in the heart of Abu Dhabi and on YAS ISLAND.

Along with this core thought and a few questions i pushed and pulled the brief until i got what i wanted.

We’ve filmed in helicopters, blocked roads with inflated hot air balloons, re-created Souks, hired off-road professional drivers to tear across desert dunes, worked with very expensive Arabian horses, filmed on Royal ships, and all in 47c+ heat in the name of the money shot.

Whether for a stills, television or film production, we can set it up. From location hunting to filming permissions, casting to catering, art-direction to studio booking, equipment rental to finding the right crew for each project.

UK HOLIDAY TVC

We can’t mention any names here, but we can say that a UK production company got wind of our production talents and commissioned us to facilitate a 2-day shoot to film a summer holiday TVC here in Dubai.

For those who know Dubai, the Emirate is graced with over 320 days of sunshine a year. You can imagine the shock on our client’s faces when on the second shoot day the clouds rolled in from nowhere. Studiofour09's production team sprung into action and re-arranged an extra days shoot within the hour. Our client left with the rushes they needed to meet their deadline and a sunny smile across their faces.

FALCON &#38; ASSOCIATES FILM

We were commissioned to produce an internal marketing film for Falcon &#38; Associates, by Millard Bourne Associates from the UK. We facilitated the crew, equipment, filming permissions and locations. The marketing film documented the inaugural Dubai World Cup race at its new home, the world’s largest racecourse, Meydan. Meydan racecourse opened on March 27, 2010 to racing fans from across the globe. A defining moment in the sport’s history.

I was asked to create a look and feel for a friends new fashion label. With no idea what to call it and after countless hours of thinking and scribbling the answer started me literally in the face, her TATTOO:)

I set about creating a dark and twisted look &#38; feel that also complimented both Yolandes personality and her new fashion line.

“ill disciplined” was born.

Continuing helping Brash Brands re-brand Dnata i was again approached to come up with a new concept for a TV commercial promoting Dnatas Travel Division. To be launched on various platforms, it had to be in line with the current Dnata thinking. 

So using the idea of a travel journal in combination with thoughts, sights and sounds of travel we came up with an illustrative style concept and animation which would have cut through in a very over crowded and polished market place.
